Iván Erdélyi (Győr June 3, 1918- Győr November 12th, 1996) lawyer.

From 1947 he opened an independent law firm and from 1951 to 1957 he was a member of the 1st Law Attorney's Office, and from 1951 he was the treasurer of the Bar Association of Győr.

On October 31, 1956, he protested against the lawlessness as a participant in the Bar Council's meeting. For his participation in the 1956 legal assembly, the Pécs County Bureau gave him a 2-year 6-month jail sentence. He was sentenced to Győr in Budapest, at Markó Street Prison, Álluszusztán and Márianosztra. On April 4, 1959, he was released with a pardon.

Until 1964 he worked in a warehouse in the Győr Carpentry Ktsz. From 1964 to 1969, the Rába Hungarian Wagon and Machine Factory, from 1970 to 1981 at the MESZÖV Legal Office, from 1975 to 1981 he was a lawyer at Richards Fine Fabric Factory. Between August 1990 and December 1993 he worked as an individual lawyer.

After 1989 he was a member of the Historical Justice Committee . Between 1990 and 1995 he was the director of the board of trustees of the Szigethy Attila Foundation. It was published in editing in 1991 by Győr-Sopron counties 'Remembering the 1956 Revolution.'
